Wedding Photography at Swancar Farm
This wedding seems such a long time ago now. It was in the bitter cold of the winter, a million miles away from the warm weather of recent weeks (albeit it’s sometimes a bit rainy). This wedding came to mind because of another couple who are having a Swancar Farm Wedding later this year. I am meeting up with Jessica and Anthony for their engagement shoot this week, who are getting married at the same venue later in the summer.
I’m looking forward to heading back there again. It will be interesting to see how much different Swancarr looks for a summer wedding.
Before this wedding I had only ever been a guest a Swancar Farm, so it was great to finally be able to photograph there earlier in the year.
A beautiful Nottinghamshire Wedding venue
On this particular day I playing a supporting role for the photography, helping out a friend who was the main photographer. When starting out as a Nottinghamshire wedding photographer I did a lot of assisting for other photographers,. This helped me to learn the ropes and improve my skills, and from time to time it’s still something that I like to do. I’m no longer learning the ropes of course, but it is always interesting to see how other photographers work and pick up new tips and approaches.
Generally I wouldn’t blog these weddings. I prefer to stick with posting weddings where I am the main photographer, but I thought I’d make an exception here as this is a venue I really hope to work at more often. I have a couple of weddings already booked there over the next year that I’m really looking forward to.
