Wedding photography at Swancar Farm Country House
Earlier this year I had the pleasure of photographing Lisa and Paul’s wedding day. They both grew up in the Wollaton area of Nottingham, and decided to have their wedding ceremony at the local church there. Before the ceremony I met up with Lisa and her bridesmaids for some of the morning nerves and excitement. I loved Lisa’s reaction when she read a card that Paul had written for her, it was very touching and one of my favourite moments from the day.
Swancar Farm Wedding Photography
After the ceremony it was on to Swancar Farm for the rest of the celebrations. As a Swancar Farm wedding photographer I get to see the venue in all sorts of different types of weather and at various times of the year. The weather turned a little as we arrived at the venue, so we took a quick few shots outside before heading under cover. I really enjoy the challenge of making beautiful wedding photographs no matter what the weather, and I was really pleased with the portrait images that we managed to create inside the venue.
Later on in the evening we got outside for a few more portraits, this time using some of the interesting lighting around the outside of the venue. Whenever possible I love to end a wedding album with a night time portrait.
Lisa choice some fantastic suppliers for her wedding….Swancar Farm, an amazing live band, dress from Kula Tsurdiu and another wedding for which Rochelle O’Brien provided the bridal make-up. It was a great wedding to phootgraph, and it was fantastic to hear how much Lisa loved her wedding album when it was delivered to her recently. As a Nottinghamshire wedding photographer, Swancar Farm is a venue I find myself working at regularly, but it’s one that I never get bored of.
